My Experience With Google Adsense

Google Adsense really makes sense as i am a net freak i was intrigued by these online money making schemes and almost tried many of them but nothing was so convincing and genuine as the adsense.... though i knew about the Adsense for more than a year i did not tried it as i was not a blogger and because i did not had any Web Site to host the Google Ads recently many of my friends started blogging simply to host the adsense on their blogs and to earn a few bucks so this made me to start my blog........ as i am the owner of the community explore the unknown on orkut http://www.orkut.com/Community.aspx?cmm=31229528 it was not at all difficult to find the area of interest in blogging ;)

Though my blogsite is 3 days old i am getting around 60 hits a day and and my earning is not much its about just around 2.7 $ as of now but the earning depends on cost-per-thousand impressions (eCPM) and mine is around 120+ a day and on average 10 clicks this is how google explains about revenue distribution/sharing "From a publisher's perspective, the effective cost-per-thousand impressions (eCPM) is a useful way to compare revenue across different channels and advertising programs. And just starting the blog and adding the Ads does not earn you the money "more the content more you are on search engines more hits " choosing the appropriate topics is also a bottom line key words like money,finance, free mp3's ,free software are more searched on search engines.... so if you are very much interested and want to earn more on google adsense it is better to do a prior research....and between dont Click on your own ads that might get you busted out of the program Google is very very Strict in Click Fraud and Click Bots..... if you have done so please send a mail to google about those clicks with an apology that might be considered at the time of review.....

Orkut Hacking? Protect your Community.

like many other community owners i was always concerned about my community..... though many of my friends community was hacked.... i was pondering about how community gets hacked and what are the techniques used by hackers.....
Google uses a 4 Level Orkut login which makes it difficult to hack using brute force method.

• First Level Security-SSL or 128 bit secured connection
• Second Level Google account checks for cookie in the sytem of user
• Third Level Google provides a redirection to the entered User information and
• Fourth Level Google doesn't use conventional php/aspx/asp coding so impossible to attack using input validation attack!!
  

So what makes hackers hack the communities... most of the communities hacked on the community is by the negligence and the naive knowledge about computers of the user... even though google warns them not to do so and so thing by advertisment on orkut users still falls in the net of the hackers.....

Here are some of the techniques used by hackers to hack your community so be ware:

* Script: java script this is also called cookie stealing scripts which uses the vulnerability of your browser to hack.... you may seen many of your friends giving you some scripts and telling to paste in the address bar of your browser.... so it is better not to run the scripts if you are not sure if it is not from the legimitate source
* Phishing: Phisihing is the most popular and most widely used hacking technique the attacker creates a fake screen similar to orkut login screen when u enter the your id and password it simply sends your credential to the attacker and simply refresh or takes you to the original login page

There are any other thing the Orkut user should think about it is better to keep the unknown email id as primary id incase if user clicks on forget password it should be sent to the unknown id... and better not to give any security question for u r password recovery and if given let it be hard to crack...

Dont try to cheat google adsense.... :o many of them are getting banned from the Google AdSense program for click fraud activities.... when i started my blog a few days back i thought why shudnt i use adsense account which was silent for months..... though i clicked on my ads once or twice to check the report i feared after that after reading about click frauds on many forums about how intelligently google fight against Click Frauds, below are some of the information gathered after visiting some sites and forums..

How do google detect the click fraud?

If the AdSense click is originated from the same IP Address as the one used for accessing your AdSense account.... your Adsense account would be marked..... event though the home computer gets different ip address during each login and after each disconnection.... google has many other means of detecting the fraud such as cookies,click patterns such as frequencies of clicks whether it is clicked manually or by click bots.... even the smartest of click bots cannot escape Adsense fraud detection.... click throug rate (CTR) Your CTR may range from 0.5% to 10%, but if it exceeds a certain point (probably around 10%), you will be in the watch list of click fraud team....

And there are other points to remember to avoid cancellation of the adsense account images and statements like click this support us near the google ads will result in termination of account.

A free Web based email service with free pop and i map access provided by Google.... the one of the best ever email service provided in the world at free of cost.... though Gmail Started as a Invitation only service it became so popular that Google made it Invitation free now any one can sign up for Gmail like any other email service. Some of the feature provide by gmail are

c. Powerful Spam filter technology(believe me from past 15 months not even a single spam in my inbox
d. pop and imap access( you can directly receive emails to email clients like Outlook,Thunder bird, and Fox Mail where other service provider charge more than 10$ for this kinda service) .
e. Gmail provides the ability to search your mail, using the search email button.
